  1. and I actually like the pictures of Ani and Kanga This book saved my life when I was in my 20’s. I had started to consume a lot of processed foods and began to feel very ill. I decided it was time for a diet overhaul and I did so using this book as my guide. Mind you, this was still in the mid-2000’s when the raw food diet hadn’t become quite a fad yet.   2. Mostly great except for one flaw I give this book 4 stars out of nostalgic admiration. This was the very first raw foods book I came across, so whenever I flip through its pages, I can’t help but smile. It’s colorful, and I actually like the pictures of Ani and Kanga. It was very well designed in terms of appearance with plenty of photographs and additional notes throughout the book.I also think the recipes are very creative and really help me to stay raw.
